How to Play?

Are you ready to dive into data? In this game, you need to help the diver collect as many underwater jewels as possible. Move the diver around with the mouse or with your finger to collect the jewels. But watch out for the jellyfish! If you hit a jellyfish, you’ll have to start over again. After catching jewels, you’ll see them on a piece of graph paper. Plus, a pie chart will show you how many of each color you collected. Which jewel did you get the most of? Select the correct color. If you answer incorrectly, the game will correct you. Then, play again and watch your score rise in the top right-hand corner of the game screen. This fun online pie chart game helps students get comfortable with pie charts. Students will have to interpret the pie chart, which is backed up by data. The graph paper display of the jewels helps reinforce the information. Students can count how many of each color there are to support their interpretation of the chart.
